        I am not sure what you mean eva, what you say upload do you mean to a website or do you mean when you add a video to your project, like colc says please provide some more infomation, maybe screen shots also, welcome to the forum

            That is just in the UI have you tried building it and running testing it also, do you have the right codecs installed on the PC? maybe try using the windows media player object

                The hardware means nothing I also have a laptop using bootcamp, A codec is what lets the video format to load, do them videos work out side AMS, also run ams project and press play, not in the IDE but the preview optiopn F5, the green might just be a preloaded colour before the video loads.

                Without the project to had it's hard to say what's going on but this is not a AMS problem this is a codec or video format problem a good codec pack is K-Lite DL HERE

                    I have not seen that one lol I don't have a problem with codecs anymore since I use known formats for windows or mac these days lol but that's two lots of codecs he can pic from if that's the problem but I can't judge anything yet cos I think some videos load green screen in on there first few frames like he's shown.

                      im goin to try the link you sent me kingzooly.. but, im thinkin it has something to do with the conversion... i originally edited the video in finaly cut and made it and MPEG file.. i can still view the video on them MAC platform bue when i switch over to windows, im not able to view it anymore.. it just shows me the green screen..

                        Yes this sounds like a codec problem, a codec is like a driver for video formats if you like to see it like that, since so many different ways to encode a video you need a codec to be able to read that file and play it back right.

                          @datdancinkat,

                          At risk of stating the obvious, but have you tried simply loading the video-object with Magnolia.mpg video from the AMS gallery - as a diagnostic test?
                          Or perhaps a different mpeg video to see if problem replicates?

                            Convert it to H.264, MPEG-4 and see if that works out for you.

                              kingzooly it seems like the link you sent me worked.. I am able to view the video now.. only problem is I have no sound but that might be something within my settings... I also wanted to know if after I put this on a USB will it play on someones MAC when they plug it in?
