  • How to minimize flat app by clicking taskbar icon?

Hello i noticed i cannot make the application minimize by clicking the app icon on the taskbar while it is in flat mode?
Anyone could help me to do that?

No problem if the App is windowed or in normal view..

Creating minimize button is what i do but it really help if i can minimize the app by clicking the icon on taskbar.

Thank you for anyone to share ideas how to do it.

Use the attached Tray plugin for that my friend. I take no credit for the Example.apz. Nor do I know who actually wrote it. But it'll do the job, if I'm understanding your request correctly.

      Edit,

It's one of Serkan's old plugins. LOL, should've guessed: https://forums.indigorose.com/forum/...on-plugin-tray

Hello bio.. i set the example to Flat but still it does not minimize when i click the icon on the taskbar.
I think this plugin works on Tray only..

But what i need is to make the application minimize when i click its icon on the Taskbar.. it works in normal window but if Flat no working.

Works from taskbar on my end, too. I'm running WinXP. Wonder if it's not another AMS Version issue? I tested under AMS Personal Edition v8.5.0.0.

I have tested on win 7. Works as it should, but then changed to flat, and don't minimize.

Interesting. I have just re-tested in flat mode. Is definitely working under WinXP. As it seems to be working under both WinXP and Win10 (but not Win7 for Mr.Bryza - while in flat mode), I would speculate that the issue is most likely related to the version of AMS being used.

The plugin (and example.apz) is Serkan's (reteset's) work, and is therefore most unlikely to be a problem related to the plugin (or example.apz) code. Serkan was always very thorough with his work and quick to fix any known bugs. Telco, my suggestion would be to first try running the example.apz under a different version of AMS, to see if u can replicate the problem. It will be the quickest way to reach an accurate diagnosis of where the problem is coming from.

                      Update:
Secondary test just performed with latest trial-verison of AMS (v8.5.2.0) running under WinXP. Everything working as it should. No problems while in flat-mode.

So, as outlined above, u should test under a different version of AMS. If you still get the same problem, post which version of AMS you're testing under (together with Windows version being used).

                          hi telco ,
After a lot of searching, you could try this example from Ret's code - requires winapi plug which I have included.
I think this does what you require - minimises / restores when TASKBAR icon clicked - not system tray
                          taskbar.apz
                          WinApi.zip
                          Cheers
