Not much to go on ! - Only thing I can suggest is move an object on page outside of canvas and try - AMS preview should stop with warning
You may be able to see what is happening as in pic, also example attached working on my Win10 / 7 using - ams 8.5
Ya without knowing that the error is and in this case seems to be nothing we had to see the build/project it's self any plugin could error out after the build/load stage at this point and kill the app dead with no fault to AMS
New project, Product Logo from Create new project, plus **** from charliechaps do the same Stop with the warning. I click Continue and then the circle spins for a moment then nothing.
I know it's something on this laptop as AMS 8.5 works ok on my Win 10 desktop. Both are 180917763.xxx. AMS 7.5 works ok on this laptop. I have un-installed and re-installed AMS 8.5, run SFC and DISM without finding any problems. I am stumped as to why AMS 7.5 works ok and 8.5 does not.
Thanks to all that replied. I'm open to any suggestions you may have.
Can you post screen capture - build status of my sample or if status at bottom is "Build Completed Sucessfully" then
Try and build web/exe and see if that completes OK
Here it is. And the build creates the Example_TestMe.exe file but attempting to run it produces a very quick green bar and then disappears.
I must also mention that I had AVG internet security on this PC. It was intercepting the AMS program and then said it was safe. I uninstalled AVG hoping it was the problem but unless it left something behind uninstalling did not solve anything.
Here is a screen capture. This flashes on the screen for an instant, then nothing. Something is obviously stopping it but what is the million dollar question. It goes too fast for task manager to catch it.
OK It could be that AVG has quarantined something from AMS. I have used AVG before and when building it scans the file, says it's OK then says sorry for delay.
I would uninstall AMS then re - install now that you have removed AVG and recheck
Already tried that, does not work. Right click, run as admin does not work either. Also uninstalled and said Yes to remove preferences. Re-installed, still does not work.
