Plugins to Download Files from AMS

How about friends, I have a question... I've seen several plugins that are for downloading files like the classic "Download Plugin" or Use HTTP to download files but my question is... which ones are recommended to be able to download files without problems or at least with an acceptable download speed .. since HTTP is usually slow in downloading in the same way the Download Plugin, I would appreciate your help

i have no plugins.. newbie here,
