@Intrigued, with your permission i'd like to post some screenshots of those apps here. They've done me the world of good as a n00b, and i think it'll be good thing for everyone to see them, especially the newcomers?
Some of those apps are awe inspiring. Infact it was the sound recorder that got me started on my latest app, which has turned into something completely different to what i started lol.
Thanks for your site mate - it's fabulous.

I was looking thru some of the previous projects I had done (fun stuff, spans over several years). Some of which included a reminder application, the first application I made money on. I charged the other AMS developer only $80 (I was still learning, new to the product) and he bumped it up to $100. That was a great feeling. Other's included a handy man client, work tracking app., an invoicing application (think QuickBooks, but much simple, easier to use), USB thumb protable drive app.(think: http://portableapps.com/), ISP client information manager, Windows 98/XP training CD-ROM based app., and others.

If the question is for me, I thank reteset for the kindness of answering my questions concerning my last app (see page 1) otherwise, please ignore this replay.

Hi Reteset,
That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks a lot.
Now and thanks to your example sent, I know for a fact how to fire events on the activex control.
I sincerely believe that your Activex plugin is a masterpiece and allows to do almost everything you desire, provided a good Activex control.
Thanks again.

Tone, these community projects get mentioned from time to time, at first every one is willing but in reality no-one has the time or shows the commitment to see it to the finish, they go pretty stale very quickly
Good luck on the venture tho, if you can rally some people to make it work than your a better man then any of the previous people, everyone has there own agenda and ultimately there own projects come first
as for making big money, not from plugins i can tell you that, these things have to be researched, find a hole in the market and fill it with something functional and practical before someone else does, sounds easy right?, not so easy, iv been researching my *money maker* for a while, iv found my hole, and its been filled already, but im pretty sure i can do better than the competition and have a more reasonable price..... but..... i need my plugins to make the app happen, so they come first, but again, my own agenda, my own projects

I'm having thoughts about making an ultimate app where we could all get together and incorporate all the good stuff we've made. There's no rush .. it's just an idea.
I've already got what i think is a very attractive first page with mouseover windows and hidden buttons that reveal more.
It has an alarm clock / a searchbar / an application window with icons pointing to portables / an internet tv page and a few other bits and bobs i'm adding to along the way. We could add almost everything to it including trial software which might be attractive to the larger corporations.
It's a pretty little thing and it's very practical and i can see it making it massive in one way or another.
I'd love us all to share the idea together, with a view to perfecting it and discussing what we could do with the first release.
If you're interested i'd like to talk more about it to you. Everybody is welcome as far as i'm concerned. I love ya's all. To me it wouldn't matter if your app didn't make it into the final product, i just want you there, like i know that you are here.
I think we'll make big money out of it eventually but my first concern is that we carry on and communicate as we already do - freely and honestly.
I think we should meet on Skype in about 3 weeks time.
Thank you for teaching me everything i've learned so far.Last edited by Tone; 09-12-2010, 05:17 PM.

Great to see those apps, i wish IR would make this a sticky that we can keep sharing our ideas on. It's great to know what everyone's doing. There's quite a bit of diversity, the plugin developers need more credit in my opinion. This forum is going to take off soon and be bombarded with new people. maybe the plugin devs could then make some money or something. these are gerat apps, i'd like to see more. No matter how new you are. especially new people! - Thanks guys.Last edited by Tone; 09-12-2010, 03:05 PM.
