Each .dll comes with its own set of "calls". Although the second example does use a different .dll than the first, neither of them allow you to autosave the finished image, you must use a Dialog.

You seem pretty desperate for this to be the case, which is intruiging. I'm curious to know why you're not happy saving it using dialog.filebrowse?
If you tell us exactly what you're trying to achieve we might be able to suggest a different option, for instance, there IS a way to "autosave" a screenshot, or a windowshot, but at present none of the other .dlls (as far as i know) cater for both scenarios, it's either one or the other

Do you know there's a very simple tutorial on how to make a .dll in PureBasic?

Have you considered using a free 3rd party executable inside your app?

Have you any experience with AutoIT or Macro's, which "record" mouse clicks?

Keep asking questions mate - someone will know

It's not possible i'm afraid. This issue has been the topic of discussion a few times. Unless the option is included within the .dll you are using you have no choice but to use a Dialog to save the file.
There are other ways to go about things, but it'll mean changing your app altogether and either using another .dll or making your own .dll which will allow the autosave you're looking for.
    Sorry about that mate

You're welcome my friend. I realised how valuable all these examples were a few years ago, so i copied the whole lot for times like this. I think it would be a good idea to upload them to Indigo Rose but i'm not sure if i'd be acting too forwardly. I'd prefer them to be on here for everyone.

ImageMagick is an open source software suite for displaying, converting, and editing raster image files. It can read and write over 100 image file formats.

It's a big overhead adding a few megabytes to your program but it's definitely worth it, it's got loads of features, filters and functions including blur, saturation, hue, contrast, brightness. Pretty much contains everything you need to make a kickass image editor in AMS.

    More information and precompiled binaries.

Another program to look at is a command line nConvert. I use it with AMS with no problems and it's free.

You can look at it here http://www.xnview.com/en/download_nc.html
