Should we assume thats the case for ams?

True that Dean, AMS really got me thinking about extending Lua and AMS with more functions. This caused me to use PureBasic way more, also thanks to you of course! I learned PB / Assembly, C++ because of this. AMS is still fun for quick apps and tools.

AMS is a great gateway tool for beginners but the more you get to grips with it the less useful it becomes but that's not a bad thing its a very good thing because it teaches you to think out of the box from day one, "AMS cant do this so how will i make it do it" was my attitude and IMO iv come leaps and bounds far beyond what i ever expected i would achieve and that's only because i moved onto a more powerful tool (highly recommended by yourself i might add) and with that tool i extended AMS and got it to do exactly what i wanted it to do, meet a bunch of great people and made a few quid along the way, AMS will always have a place on my HDD

True that, not enough time in the day to do all I want (sometimes, nor all I need to do). But, we do what we can, in the time we have, right.

My team is about to start on a couple of new projects, which will be multiple-month projects, looks like. So, we will be busy with Web platforms like .NET and Android on the mobile front.

But, AMS is still fun from time to time and I believe a great product (including those awesome plugins you all have done!) to make some fun, useful applications. It's the platform I made my first $100 in programming fees from!

It's nice to see discussions like these are still going on over here. I haven't renewed, simply because I haven't seen enough improvement and PureBasic / C++ and custom back-ends for Lua do much more for me these days. Oh, right and I have a job, I really miss the time when I actually had time for development...
