How to access Mysql on web server

I would never do this I would right a php API that will return the calls to your program so your mysql details are NOT in the software and if your DB is on a shared host 90% chance remote access will be disabled so this will also help you around that since the php runs on the host so works with the rules they set in place.

Currently I am using the default mysql plugin of AMS8.
I was testing the application with my localhost server created with xammp and everything was of. But the problem is that I should manage the database that is located on a web server and here my application doesn't work.

Can anyone tell me how to connect to a mysql web server?
