Capturing with Webcam.dll

Hi everyone,

I've been playing with ssid's Webcam dll and I've got some questions. First, is it possible to connect to multiple webcam at the same time with the plugin without having to go back in the settings everytime? I'd also like to know if it is possible to change the resolution of the video stream, I always get 320x240 and I have to go in the dialog to change it to a higher resolution. And my last question is, is it possible to capture a picture to the best quality, for example instead of 640x480, to have 1024x768.

I tried to look into windows api and Microsoft's LifeCam library but I'm limited by my skills for now.

Any help or solution will be appreciated,

Hi,
Are U using the " webcam demo project apz". The webcam.dll is pretty old and when I tried it on win10 - grainy not good focus.
Maybe a suggestion would be to use a newer / portable free web app and embed into you project

Hello colc,, yes me too i try to used webcam.dll but its limited in resolution. hoping there is a way to capture the webcam using AMS.
