Seems that no one is interested in a reply to this message.

It's quite unuseful and against forum rules to bump the message.

          Hi Slim,

Sounds very cool! Did you make those videos?

(Note: Cybergraph is correct that we don't normally allow commercial/advertising links on these forums, and while I haven't viewed the video training yet, the subject matter is obviously of interest to our users, so we'll make an exception for this.)
AutoPlay Media Studio 8.5 is Windows 10 compatible today!

yes I made them and they were reviewed by experts, that's why I thought the content and quality would be enteresting for newbies visiting the forum

            thanks for the exception

The video is very hard to follow, from what you have posted, I also don't see the need to have to pay in to training videos in my personal view.

I feel its just means to make money not to help the AMS users people that paid in to AMS really don't want to be paying out again and again.

If I was and I have in the past going to make tutorials for AMS I would keep the community in mind and post it here in the first place free of charge.

I would say if you really want to get some where redo it at least and speak a **** of a lot slower as some of your words get lost when your talking, anyway good luck.

Why are you being so negative towards him? it seems he took no notice off you anyway and purchased AMS but he could have easily took the unwelcoming comments personally and not bothered purchasing and ultimately AMS needs more purchasers to justify new versions so being overly critical is not doing you any favours in the long run.

Even though I have always been supportive of free AMS content, tutorials etc. I still think that this is a good idea. Nobody is harmed by viewing these videos. Some people want to learn and pay, some want to earn and teach - there is a demand and supply.

I have watched the previews, there is some good material in there. Even though I occasionally have to listen carefully to what you say, I don't find the material particularly hard to follow.

                      Well done!

I was not been negative 3 people who would be like his target users new comers to ams couldn't follow him he was missing out words or speaking two fast. i dont know why it **** a word i never said a bad word so maybe thats why it looks like i was been negative.

I did say good luck and maybe re-record them speaking slower this is not negative but good advice he sounds like a kid on sugar missing words and talking fast well in the examples anyway.

ps welcome to the green family slim

                          Pluralsight Training

I tend to agree, that not everyone likes to "tinker", they have to come up to speed on many applications, as in my case as an Instructional Technology specialist/consultant.

However, I also concur with others that Slim speaks far too fast and his accent make intelligibility difficult at times, which I think would be improved if he just slowed down. I don't know what native language Slim speaks, but to get the maximum value and benefit for users, I would transcribe the narration to a script if not already and either slow it down or have another narrator do a voiceover just slightly slower but one not having such a pronounced accent.

I have no trouble with most accents per say, and I don't know how Pluralsight pays out on its courses, but if you own the rights Slim, before extending this course to other venues like Udemy where you can actually teach a blended course potentially helping hundreds of users at a time, you definitely might want to consider re-recording the lessons, but overall the content is good, and does an excellent job covering all the fundamental aspects of getting up to speed with AMS8

Again, not trying to be critical, but having been involved with creating training & education content for more than 25 years, I know what works and what doesn't, particularly for technology-oriented training. I just hate to see training of value be under utilized simply due to the speaker and not his knowledge of the content, of which he obviously has. Another option that may be easier than re-recording is to add captioning instead, but either of those additions would make for a much better experience for the learner, but overall it's well done and I'm sure many will still find it of value in coming up to speed with AMS 8 quickly.

                            thanks everyone for your feedback
the narration speed in the overview is a little bit fast I agree, but it has improved over next clips
also the courses come with a transcript (CC) feature, so a non native speaker can see the spoken text, which will help him better understand the course
