  • Set Icon at run time

    Hey there I am making a little tool for launching games as I little board and no real internet for a while I thought I play around with a Game launcher tool, but I need to edit the exe's icon how would I do this I am going to create the editor and the lanucher in AMS So the editor needs to change the icon anyone got any ideas how to do this?

    Not possible with AMS. I am working on a fairly complicated plugin that does just this and changing version information as well
    Plugins:

      I know it can't be down within ams install I know it can be done tho as I have done it in the past just don't remember how I have means to do it this time around but its not really the most grasful means of doing it, but at the moment I am playing with my RPG Game idea again now I got my basics working again time to reprogram my sprite plugin to work with the new movement spaces.

      I hope to see your plugin about well I will if you don't charge for it lol but I guess I look at the demo if you make one if you charge.

      Version info I don't need to change I happy with that been fixed with my exe's details the Icon tho would be changable by the end user.

        Its gonna be free I'm not gonna charge for action plugins. I attached an example of it currently only works with 32x32 bit icons and for some reason not on AMS executables... Trying to fix that

          Can't see no attachent chuck, also don't take what I said in your other post not to charge for all your plugin just pick the right type to charge for as the free ones get the people hooked to your quality of work but also like you have started post about the fourm let people get to know you

            Sorry about that I had to take it down as it needs more testing. Uses the same code that AMS does in the IRResourceReplace.dll but for some reason it doesn't work with self extracting executables made by AMS.

              Don't be sorry if something does not work and you want to fix it whom am I to stop you just wish AMS had support for sprite sheets lol for my other little project I have posted on here some where the Game time to chop up images
