Bye bye QuickTime?

Used for at least 6 years the QuickTime Object to manage and control the interactivity of movies inside a stand alone application. In my opinion, The QT object has always had better characteristics than other mediaplayers of AMS. Now we find that because of flaws in QT, the program is no longer supported by Apple and Microsoft recommends you uninstall.
What do you think? It is time to abandon QT also inside AMS projects?

Yes, the security bugs will not be fixed, thus known security issues and exploits will remain in the software. This means it's simply unsafe to distribute software using QT. It will put people at risk.
