good worked RizlaUK your API method is very good and dont want any change never remove it this bug comes from otherwhere, this bug come from ShowAutoC function when you call SCI.AutoCShow, some of Scintilla messages want reference to buffer so when you send your buffer to it and then immediate free that buffer Scintilla crashes because cant find Your buffer in the memory just some message (like SCI_AUTOCSHOW, SCI_SETTEXT, ...) have this problem so for these message all time create a global buffer and then use it, see this examp you can see this is work like charm eve on win 7

no , this is going good
a good working scintilla editor would be a better part of action plugin compiler
i am following this thread since begin , just can not join frequently

if this program will compile Lua scripts then a fully featured Lua editor
is a must have feature of this program

so we can move all script editing job to this program and users can done everything in this program

    good job guys :yes ,

i'll come back to the world soon

ok, sure, i'll make a new thread when i have something new to post, if anyone else comes up with anything in the mean time then go ahead and make the thread

i got my work cut out here, it seems 'B' and 'U' are affected also and with lack of error reporting and growing amounts of code its becoming really hard to bug track this thing, but i think iv got a good idea what it is, we may need to rework the API system after all,

    ill get back

    just a FYI

this API system is almost a direct port of the original SCITE source, i ported my version from jaPBe, and jaPBe ported its version from the SCITE source, my original version that i free coded was slow as h.e.l.l so i searched out and ported this code which is 1000 times faster

Bas (if your out there) remember my first attempt, lol
How would i get it to include my plugin functions? i enabled it but no dice lol.

Yes, it crashes 2 times of very much for me, using winxpsp3 i belive that API causes any problem, i search and replace ( for ","( and ) by )"," and I think in some functions are () in descriptions, and this can cause problems, i will check tomorrow, and i will include the names of plugins such as Aplication, Grid, RichText... for do autocomplete more simply
