Looking at the release notes today I can see that the last AutoPlay software update was 8.5.3.0 - back in October 10, 2018 Does anyone know if that's it now? or if the software is still in development as 5 years since last product update seems like a long time for any additional updates / patches or even new program releases.?

This has been covered many times already… Yes, it’s still supported. We’re here and assist customers who own licenses. It works the same as it did since the last update, we’ve made sure it runs on Windows 11, Ulrich created an Edge plugin etc.
There have unfortunately always been many more people who use AMS than those who actually pay for it, which makes further large scale development infeasible (read uneconomical). Don’t expect it to magically support Mac development or something. However, for those of our customers that still rely on AMS, we do have a maintenance update planned for later this year. It will likely come after updates for our other tools, but it will clean things up, and perhaps serve as a springboard to a future open sourcing of the codebase for those who want to try taking on larger challenges. If we can figure out how that would even work…

No that's fair enough and totally understand the major development side of things. I had worked with Ulrich in the past on a project that I once worked on a long time ago using this software. I just wast sure if the company was either still running or if producing updates as nothing showed since 2018. I do have a genuine license to use the software and I was looking to re-new but on checking and seeing that there wasn't any "updates since 2018" I wanted to check prior committing to updating my version.
