Re: YOUR company name on your client's project
Oh yeah. I have had alot of people call me and say "I got this cd from a salesman and I found your email on it"
I always clear it with the client before putting anything on the cd. Every time they see the cd for the first time they always say "I thought your "X" was going to be bigger". So you can see it only if you are looking for it. It might be a shade darker than the background I am using.

Just a personal choice, I'm an existentialist. I never put my name on anything.

Re: YOUR company name on your client's project
AGRO, have you received business this way that you know of... for instance, has anyone said "I saw your name on Company X's discs and I wonder if you can do this for us too"?
Corey, from all of your contributions to this forum I bet you can create some killer apps! Why would you not want to take credit and get the word around.... unless of course you were doing so for someone else's company and they chose not to allow it???

Re: YOUR company name on your client's project
Hmmm... I had replied but one of the other IR staff deleted it. Not sure why but oh well. The gist of my deleted post was that I do not put my name on anything.

Re: YOUR company name on your client's project
Everyone of my clients don't have a problem at all. I just put a little logo somewhere in the corner and upon clicking on this logo a separate .exe is my small presentation. 3 pages no sound just a small, quick , down to the point what we have to offer, and our email link. Nothing special, but leave a way form them to get ahold of you.

YOUR company name on your client's project
Do your clients allow you to have your company name somewhere on their project? For example, on a help/about screen... "Produced by XYZ Company - www.xyzcompany.com"?
Wondering what kind of feedback (and possible new business) to expect by having this on the client's product... I am listed this way on my latest AMS project (a PDF catalog), as I am providing support on the product to my client's clients. Of course, the volume of the product and perceived quality of the product will have a lot to do with possible new biz, but assuming that is far above the norm... Any experiences out there with this type of "marketing"?Tags: None
