Re: Autosave Function?
The next service release (4.0.0.1). No exact time on that, but probably within the next 2 weeks or so. We'll keep you posted.

RE: AutoSave
By "Next Release", are you referring to APMS 5.0 or a 4.x Patch???

Re: Autosave Function?
As a long time Win98SE user I have developed the nervous habit of automatically hitting CTRL+S ervy few minutes... Don't even think about it anymore, it's automatic.
I never use autosave because I tend to use Revert as a multi level undo whenever I want to test out an idea. BTW that would be a nice feature to add to AMS, a FILE > REVERT feature which restores to last saved state.
See then you can save your file and then try out a bunch of wild changes and if they don't work out just revert and if they do save. That way you can go way past your undo history and not have to hassle with multiple CTRL-Z action. I use revert a lot...

Re: Autosave Function?
Hope you are working on the autosave first and the crash issue next. I can live with the crashing if my work isn't lost...

Re: Autosave Function?
We are actually working on the crashing problem now. We are also putting an autosave feature into the next release (I am coding now...).

Autosave Function?
Is there an "autosave" function built into AMS? The program has crashed unexpectedly on me more than once and I lost numerous hours of work. Do I have to hit save every 30 seconds or so just to make sure my work isn't lost?
For the record, I am using XP, AMS 4.0 and the crashes occur for no specific reason. Just a click of death and it's gone.
Any suggestions?Tags: None
