OK so here's another Indigo Rose video tutorial. This one teaches you how to build a cool text scroller in AutoPlay Media Studio, enjoy!

As always you need quicktime 5+ to watch this video, if you don't have it, get it here for free:

You can get the project files simply by click "attachment" under my name to the left. You can get the video tutorial movie here:

As always all feedback and follow ups are welcome... Also notice our watermark is now clickable, pretty snazzy n'est pas?

Re: Video Tutorial - Make a cool text scroller in AMS

Nice solution Corey, Although I have one question. When I put the scrolling text on a page with other buttons and links, the application action "Sleep" used for setting the scroll speed appears to be inadvertently disabling all of the other buttons on the same page? Can you help with any suggestions or am I missing something maybe?

PS. The Video tutorials are great…thanks

The application/project will not 'run' whilst the Applcation.Sleep is active. After all, the application is sleeping.

Great work, as usual, these vids are just fanbloodytastic.
I am however in the same position as AK, I am a (new) user of Swish, so some of your flash vids are a bit lost on me.

Keep up the good work.

any dates for AutoplayZone going live ?

Cheers

I'll figure this one out later, I promise. As for now, it's a beautiful sunny long weekend and I have a date with an angel.

Re: Video Tutorial - Make a cool text scroller in AMS

As to the text scoller, I have fixed it. Simply click on "attachment" under my name to the left to get the new project file.

To adjust the speed simply adjust the variable %tick% in the WHILE field, lower numbers means faster scrolling, higher numbers means slower.

I realise this is an old post but can I still get the video and scroller file mentioned here and will it work in AMS5??

Thanks
