Has anyone used APMS to create a "Picture CD"? I know that there is software out there that allows you to do this but thought it would be fun to have it done with APMS. Maybe something along the lines of a web browser but a picture browser instead.

    Thanks

    Re: Picture CD

I am trying to do the same myself, I was thinking of inserting the photos as images and then getting the pages to advance after 3 seconds each using the sleep command. Let me know if you find a better way.

Can you describe to me what a "picture CD" is? Is it like an auto-play slide show?

A cd that will show one picture at a time in full screen and then advances to the next say after 3 seconds, and then the next etc etc.
With a simple exit button on each screen.

In that case use a FOR loop for your delay since application sleep will also affect your exit button and/or any "next/previous" buttons you may have...

You can also use Easy CD Creator. It makes a slide show .EXE which you can use in AMS.

Or Flash! You can do some cool transitions with Flash, too.

With new dynamic masking in Flash MX You can really create some far out stuff.

Speaking of far out flash, get ready to have your minds blown, we're about to launch something cool... Da-nuh, da-nuh...

                    Re: Corey gives good tease...

What about the newest Video Tutorial where IR shows how to create a template using the Export/Import function. The template that is shown might be something I am interested in using. It appears that the template might be something along the lines of what I am interested in. You do a mouseover and the picture appears in an object.

I guess it would be easy to create a slide show and have it launch from a button, but it might be nice to have a user controlled backward and forward capability.

                    Thanks
