They are coming this week for sure! As Sammy Davis Jr. titled his autobiography, "I'm dancing as fast as I can." Seriously dude, I am... We're extending things in so many directions at the same time...

Hi
Looks good , what Hz are they recorded at ?

I think you are bit pricey when compared to $399 for this stuff recorded at cd quality 44hz

OK, let's be fair... I OWN Digital Juice's BackTraxx. There are several very useable tracks. Most are very electronic sounding - in a bad sort of way. Listen to the samples that Corey has provided here, and you can tell that a whole bunch more musical effort (skill?) went into the production of Liquid Cabaret.

If you have ever had the displeasure of auditioning music tracks with an important client after just receiving your new Digital Juice music library (as I did)... Then you know what I'm talking about. It was embarrassing, and the last time I will bring a new library anywhere without first listening through.

Just curious as to at what frequency you'd prefer your music recorded? 44.1 is the broadcast standard still. I'd like to learn about any music library recorded at a higher frequency.

Yes, I've thought about this ... wondered! If 44.1khz is CD quality, are we likely to benefit from anything higher? I mean, as people, could we tell the difference?
Personally, I don't think so, therefore, I've never bothered with anything higher. Never took the trouble to look into it either so, I don't really know.

That's my thought at this time ...

Re: Liquid Cabaret is here!!! Music for the masses...

I record at 48 KhZ 24 bit but I mix to 44.1 16 bit. A lot of sound cards are capable of 48 nowadays. No one mixes above 44.1 for mainsteram end usage.

As you can see here plenty of people are recording at 96 Khz 24 bit which is the current max as far as I know:

http://www.crmav.com/recording/44/st...kage_pro.shtml

The music is all performed and recorded by a guy named Paul Shrofel and was mixed months ago, I had nothing to do with that process. Paul has a degree in music composition from prestigious McGill university, he's an amazing musician in every right. He performs to grateful audiences all over the world, he just did a nice stint in Bahrain and is back here in Canada recording music for the Winnipeg planetarium.

Our collection puts digital juice to shame in terms of usability and diversity. There's a song in our collection for every context, someitmes several.

At the end of the day you either see the value in it or not, that's why we put up samples of every single song in the collection when Digital Juice would never, ever do that in a million years, their sales would plummet if they did.

I'm sorry but I've seen Digital Jiuce's materials both graphic and musical and I am ashamed to see material like that on the market. I found not a single piece of media on any of their CDs of appropriate quality to use in my projects. I found their backdrops CD to be atrocious on every count. Truly third rate batch-converted amateur crap in every sense. Anyone with a basic knowledge of Photoshop could create all the material on that CD in a single afternoon, and it would likely be better quality than their's.

We are about to release some backdrop and photo CDs which will will once again demonstrate superiority over existing market materials. You'll see, its coming, you be the judge... A few things you'll see right away from our CDs:

1. No batch conversion was used, every single template/photo/backdrop is unique.

2. The quality is awesome, I used 3D apps, my digital camera, and much more to create these. They are truly snazzy.

3. The selection is HUGELY diverse just like liquid cab we touch all bases.

4. This stuff was produced by someone who has spent years and years mastering the art of producing such materials and expended a lot of blood, sweat, and tears creating every piece in these collections.

Anyhoo enough ranting. Suffice to say that Liquid Cabaret is aimed at people who recognize the difference in quality vis-a-vis Digital Juice. When I get a few days to spend on pure marketing I plan to send Liquid Cab to every retailer of Digital Juice CDs and try to squeeze them out whereever I can...
