  • Preview/Build not working. Help Please!!

    I d'loaded the demo because I heard this was one Kick-butt application. I like what I see and have read about it. But I must be incredibly stupid. For the life of me I cannot get the 'Preview' option to actually display a preview. It goes through the process of building a preview, then my screen flickers and I find myself back at the design window.
    I then tried to build the project. Actually it built it and stored all the files in the proper directory. But I could not get the project to run. Neither from the directory on my HDD or from a disc I burnt it to.
    I then decided that it was something I had done during the creation process that foulded things up. So I opened one of the premade templates and attempted to preview/build and run the autorun.exe. 'NOTHING' I'm so confused right now.
    I'm running it in Windows XP Pro, 700Mhz Pentium, 512 MB RAM. (I'm pretty sure my baby can handle this application)
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I sure am glad to see that problems are addressed in a timely manner. At this rate i believe the demo will expire and i'll be left totally disenchanted with this whole experience.
    I suppose I should look elsewhere for similar software.

      Sorry that nobody has gotten back to you. Unfortunately, there is not much that I can tell you from your description. To my knowledge, nobody has reported this kind of problem before.

      Hmmm. What if you start a blank project and then preview. Any luck?

        I'd just like to say that I wouldn't take this experience and generalize IRs support from it. If you look through the posts on this board alone, you'll see that they are answered in a timely manner and are detailed.

          Note: this isn't an official support forum; it's primarily a community forum, so we can't guarantee that we'll see every post, or respond to it. (Although we usually do anyway. In fact, if you browse some of the other threads, I think you'll agree with Worm that we're pretty responsive.)

            Do you have any antivirus software running in the background? Any other programs that might be interfering with your executables? Have you virus checked your system recently?

            When you say the screen flickers...do you mean you spot a window appear on the screen and disappear right away, or do you mean the monitor goes black for a second, or...?

            When you installed the program, did you get any error messages (corrupt archive, etc.)?
