Regional Settings vs. OS Language

Hello,

we have to make a difference between the regional settings (Set in the Control Panel) and the Operating Systems Language. The Build in variable %syslanguage% reads the regional settings but not the Operating Systems Language, or am i wrong ? We need to detect the OS Language, how can we do it ? E.G. in Switzerland we have the languages German, French and Italian, so we have to detect what language the OS has.

I've not really used this feature, but as I understand it, you insert the correct xml file under Project / Settings / Language, and depending which OS language number is detected will load the relevent xml file - only English & French in my version, you will need to create your own for other languages. See the ini file in the languages folder under AMS.
You can allocate one language a default.
