  • Can I browse after AVIS to play it with the Media Player Modul?

I want to play any avi on the CD Rom with the Media Player Object. Is there the possibility to let the user play any AVI on CD without defining names? Like a browse feature. So I can burn the Autoplay Studio Files on any CD and use it as a simple Videoplayer? I need not to allow resizing and I need a black fullscreen backround.

    How can I do this?

Yes you can, please describe how you picture the user accessing these videos and I'll see what I can provide.

      How is not so important,
it could perhaps be enough that the user can enter the name of an avi on the CD to open it.
Of course it would be better if the user can browse freely through his Harddisks and the CD Rom or only CD Rom.

I want to make an Player for a company which has the Logo on top, in the middle the media Player Object (every time 720x576, the size of the movies to play is always the same) and a black fullscreen backround around it.

I build everything, the only problem that I have to enter one fix filename and the user can not choose the file absolute freely by filebrowser or something simular.

I think I'm missing your point. We started off with a CD and now we're in the hard drive plus you say it's OK if they have to enter the filename but seem to cite that fact that they have to enter the filename as the problem. I'm not real sure what you need.

Anyhoo a FILE > BROWSE action attached to a button would allow your users to browse for AVIs... Try using one of the built in video player templates also, might work...

Thanks, after some tests now it works like I want it.
