  • Attach PDF to email automactically

I have PDF form I created in Acrobat, which is a contact form that a user can fill out and email back to me. Currently using the "File. Open" action. Which the user will have the form open now, I have a button that the user can submit the form back to me via their email using the mailto function. Ok this will open up their email program, and populate a new email. My problem I'd like the pdf form to attach itself to the email. Is this possible within AMS? Or do I have to program within Acrobat? Otherwise the user will have to save the pdf form and then bring up their email and attach the form.

Acrobat 5 help file: blah blah blah...press File and then Send Mail...manual process.

Another method may be to add a "Hyperlink" in the PDF that is scripted with a "Mailto:" command. An option within the link dialog will ask you if the PDF should be submitted as an attachment. The end user will still have to hit the send button. This may be a good time to ask for feedback too...dunno what your application is.

    Good Luck!

Yeah I already have set the "mailto" function within acrobat. the button once clicked will invoke the users email program. The task now to get the PDF form attached to the email.
