Re: Controlling Sound Volume
I was just informed that the ZIP file for this project was a little mixed up. Files weren't being placed where they were supposed to and it made for an ugly scene when the project was run. SORRY!
Anyhow, I fixed the zip file and it should work properly now.

Re: Controlling Sound Volume
Forget about volume control for Mother-inLaw.
Just a mute button should be enough.... in self activating mode as the default.

Re: Controlling Sound Volume
If you can tweak it so it works on mother-in-laws too you'll be a rich man...

Re: Controlling Sound Volume
I'm working on that right now. Hopefully when I'm done the DLL will control the Master Volume, Wave Volume and Muting. If I'm lucky, I can get the other volumes too (CD, Line In, Mic, etc..)

Re: Controlling Sound Volume
Thank You! Very good stuff....
What about a "mute" toggle button. How would one go about that?
Thanks

Look in the OnProgress of the MP3 player and you'll see the code.

Re: Controlling Sound Volume
That's very nice. Good Job. I've looked at the source, but I cannot figure out how you are swapping the background image. I see you have an image on top of, but I don't see what's causing it to show/hide in the app.
Thanks
Tony

Re: Controlling Sound Volume
Really cool...
The Volume control works great. Now I just have to come up with a project to use it for.

Controlling Sound Volume
I just finished writing my first C++ DLL.
It's nothing spectacular, but it is something I wanted to be able to do from within AMS4. So here it is in all it's glory in a sample application. I hope others can find a use for it too.
wSoundDLL.dll
Allows you to control the Wave Volume from within your application. I know you can execute the SndVol32.exe to get a volume control, but I wanted to be able to make the volume control integrated in my design.
