• MMB Comparison

G'day all. Just enlisted with the forum.
I haven't installed 'Studio yet but would like to know, before I do, what the main differences I will see between this and Multimedia Builder. I am a MMB fanatic.....;_}
Thanx much

Re: MMB Comparison

Well, first the first thing is that there WILL be new versions of AMS in the future. It's my understanding the MMB is in limbo as to whether there will be any new versions.

I've used both, and I always seem to come back to AMS as my main development app. I'm in no way saying that MMB isn't a viable solution, but I do think that AMS has the upper hand. Download the trial, and dig in. I think over all you'll be glad that you did.

Thanx Muddy......
Gave it a go today and I like what I see. Will take a few goes but it seems very powerful app. Still need a bit of practice. Actualy easier than MMB in some parts.
Anyway I'll keep reading the forum and learning. Thanx again....pongston

Re: MMB Comparison

My mom always said if you have nothing to good to say about something shutup so I won't address MMB as a product. But one primary difference I would like to point out is the support. I haven't met you yet because I had a week offline but I'm usually always here and ready to answer any questions you may have as are the rest of the team. Just take a look around the forums and see what you think. I hope that you find our support to be much superior to the makers of MMB and indeed most other software. We strive to be second to none and we try to do it with actions instead of words.

Hopefully you find value in our dedication to after-sales support.

As to the future of AutoPlay Media Studio it is indeed very strong, perhaps stronger than about 70% of the big name software titles out there. Indigo Rose is privately owned by one of the most sane humans you would ever care to meet. Anyone who understands how profoundly significant that is in today's market would understand just how solid our future is. I bet my carreer on it so you know I believe in it.

As to the future of MMB I have heard there is none, or at least not for a long itme at best. I can certainly guarantee you that no matter what happens to MMB the future of AMS will be superior...
