  • APMS-generated auto.exe causing problems on Win ME!

    Hello there,

One of our customers is facing major problems with an auto.exe file on a Windows ME machine. Our customer describes the problem as the following:
After auto.exe is started, a dialog window pops up with an error prompt.
    (Error 1914+1915 in TTWeb)

Are there any errors like this one known in cooperation with ME?
I know from sources that this problem didn't occur on all ME-systems.

    Thanks!

    Mat

I think TTWeb is a terminal emulation package. You may want to check into whether it is installed on that box.

Ahhh, I see. Well that gets dicey then doesn't it. In order to help our support guys would need a bunch more info such as full OS and system details as well as full incident details. What were you doing before it happened.

One test would be to try uninstalling TTweb and see if it still happens... If not then we know it's a TTWeb/AMS related issue. Try to narrow it down as much as you can...
