You can replace or alter icon with the program Microangelo.

Thanks for the info it work like a charm MicroAngelo save the day. Maybe allowing the user to put their own icon is an area Indigo needs to think about on their next version. The problem seems small but this is what will drive other creators from using AMS, because an ICON is a creators signature, and for Indigo not including this on AMS not much people will support their product especially since most companies will want to display their own .exe icon instead of Indigos. I HOPE YOU INCLUDE THIS ON YOUR NEXT VERSION INDIGO, Anyway thanks for your help ..NIM

A bit too dramatic but your point is taken... Although I disagree wholeheartedly that developers are being driven away from AMS because they have to use Microangelo to install an icon. And as proof I offer you the fact that if what you say is true and "an ICON is a creators signature" surely those "creators" would:

        a) Own an icon tool such as Microangelo, after all it's their "signature" they must take that seriously, no?

        b) Understand how to install an icon. Again after all it's their "signature" so surely they must have created and installed at least one icon throughout their carreers as "creators", no?

That being said I am a "creator". I use AMS. Most often I leave the icon untouched. I know lots and lots of people do the same, for the most part that's pretty much what the majority does... Anyhoo glad you found your solution/signature.

Well if an ICON is not important, why is it that all those free CD that you get from magazine have their own. They all have their own ICON in their CD's which is the point im trying to visualise to you people. No offence Corey I was just trying to point out suggestion for improvements on the next version of AMS.

            1. You said you had no problem changing the icon, i.e. "worked like a charm", that's good isn't it? I thought it sounded fairly peachy, no?

            2. I never made an assesment on the importance of icons.

            3. Free CDs? That's iron clad proof that something's amuck for sure but I'm not inclined to use that as a barometer for what color suit I should wear tomorrow if you know what I mean...

            4. Like I said in my post your point is taken, you have successfully "visualised it to us".

            5. We have a suggestions forum, that's the best place to make suggestions for future versions if you want them to get noticed...

            6. No offense taken, my point is only that we are not "driving creators away", just wanted to make that clear...

            All the best...
