After reading through your AutoPlay Media Studio Web site,
I decided to download the "Sample #1 - Blue Gel MP3 Player"
just to look at it. After playing a MP3 file, my monitoring
software indicated that 2 new keys were added to my Registry.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\The Silicon Realms Toolworks"
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\The Silicon Realms Toolworks\Armadillo"
A little research indicates that this is some kind of anti-piracy
protection.
My question is: Does your product place this kind of extraneous
data in the Registry of anyone playing a CD created with your
product.
The people I deal with would not want me cluttering up their
Registries with this kind of garbage, just to play a CD that
I have sent them!
