Outputting Variables in preformatted word files

Hi all, just wondering if it's possible to have people enter infomation into text boxes and then have all that information stored somewhere (saved to they can go back and alter information) and then to have the files churned out in a word file with bold text and tables and the like. Also, is it possible to have drop down menus (with or without using html in web browser) so people can select from a list of products or choices and for those options to be also saved and output in the word file?

Not sure if I'm making much sense but any information would be greatly appreciated!

I know nothing about word files specifically but I can tell you that it's very easy to have users input info of all types and to store that info for later use. It's also very easy to output that info as any type of file as long as you have a grasp of that file type... I regularly use AMS to generate HTML, XML, PHP, and text files on the fly...
