Math Calculations

Sorry - the answer to this is probably right under my nose - but I've searched the help and can't find if AMS can do simple math problems. Example: enter into field 1 a figure (say $1000) and have field 2 calculate <Field 1 * 1000/Field 3, etc, etc>. Is this possible?

Check out these actions:

1. EDIT FIELD OBJECT > GET TEXT
2. VARIABLE > SET VALUE (Click on the little "Build..." button)

Yep, it'll do all that, but you have to use the EDIT FIELD OBJECT option and GET TEXT - declare that as a variable and then put it in an equation....

Incrocci, look in the User's Guide section of the help file. There's a whole chapter on Expressions...that should help you out. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
