If you want to remove all the eye candy you can righclick on My Computer, select properties, selected Advanced and then check the radial button that says for best performance. What i'm wondering is there a way to do that throught the registry. I would like to beable to click on a button on my menu and would like it to do it for me, Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Re: Performance
Yes, but you'll have to make all the individual Registry changes separately (for all of the settings in the list).
A couple good places to look for info on the various Registry settings involved might be www.winguides.com and www.annoyances.org.
Also be very aware that such settings are operating-system specific.--[[ Indigo Rose Software Developer ]]
