  • What projects have U done with AMS?

    Hi everyone.
I'm debating whether to invest in AutoPlay Media Studio. I have worked thru the demo and I've checked out the samples provided by Indigo Rose. BUT...I'd like to see what kind of (commercial?) projects created by AMS users.

Is there anyone there who is willing to contribute links or samples of their projects to this thread?

    Thanks,
    Ron

    Take a look at this.
It tell's nothing about the functionallity of APMS, and it is in Dutch, but maybe it can get you to decide to buy this really fantastic software. And remember: the more you use it, the more you like it!!

programming is very easy, just put the characters in the right order....

Personally, I cannot share any of my projects due to the agreements I've signed with my corporate clients. However, I can vouch for this product - what is it you are trying to produce? The sample projects will go a long way to showcasing some of the capabilities of this software. At this point, I'm pretty much convinced that there's very little I can't do with the software. So it might be more appropriate to ask what you can't do, rather than what is possible.

I have been involved in creation of aiPC, Automotive and Infotainment PC (PC interface for your car). All I can say is this is one **** of an amazing application for that. There are limitations but if there is a will, there is a way.

You can check out my project at:

You can download it, run it, and even download the source file from there.

Oh.. when will we be able to have GIF support? GIF patent will run out this year right?

Perhaps a U.S. version before June?

Ummm, I think there was a post about that a while back Bruce... It seems to me they decided it wasn't legally feasible... There's no point in jeopardizing anything for this, especially considering you can currently serve .gifs very easily using a media player object, web object, and flash obect. So like I say, as far as I've been told it's not going to be in AMS until the patent expires next June or so, including US and elsewhere.

                            Re: Projects

                            I love AMS4 and especially AMS5!

I'm still developing several apps in AMS5, but I used AMS4 to create the following:

Most recently, I used AMS4 to write a little program called "Field Radio" which is used for avid Battlefield 1942/Desert Combat gamers. It's complete with installer, editor and uninstaller (all in a nifty package). It just got a great review at PlanetBattlefield.com (the largest fan support site for the game and its mods). AMS rocks!

The first project I released with AMS4 was my CD: http://www.TheHiddenForest.com) which was the first independent CD in the world that included a virtual world (created by my team - thanks Maik) themed around the music on a hybrid audio/CD-ROM. I used AMS4 to create a TON of features on the disc (ode to Peter Gabriel), such as bonus MP3 tracks, hidden areas and "Easter Eggs" (Hidden Tracks) for dedicated fans to find.

Just recently, I used it to create Tony Robbin's CD-ROM from the ground up. His new product: "Mobile Personal Trainer" is an MP3/WMA player that required several advanced functions...so I used AMS4 to create not only a CD-ROM, but an entire Media Player similar to Windows Media Player.

The product's now on QVC and is a huge success...1 more point for Indigo Rose!

What I have in store for AMS5 is even more powerful, and will be available at my site very soon!

Musicians, keep an eye out...Worm and I are developing some great new software apps for Pro musicians in the industry. And all under $10.

If you're thinking of going the AMS route for software development...trust me...it's worth it!
