Registry Setting value of a Reg_Binary

Im try to set the value of the following key: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Power Value name is Heuristics and I'm trying to 05,00,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,3f ,42,0f,00 which is a hex value, Do i have to do anything different with HEX values to get it to work.
