  • Placing autoplay files on a network

    Hi Folks,

I have developed a training package in Autoplay but it runs to slow on cd so I want to put it on the company network so other people can use it. If I place the setup files on the network, will multiple people be able to use the Autoplay application at the same time, or will it limit to only one user?

    Cheers,

    Tony

Many people can run it at the same time no problem.

As always a quick answer to a problem, other software vendors should take note of the excellant customer service policy at IndigoRose.

Hear, Hear, Matrix. I'd go so far as to call it a "culture" of customer service - it's beyond just a policy.

            Totally agree, support is excellent.
BTW, I seem to remember someone having a problem using AMS on a network where they were writing to / manipulating external text files - Works great without these but thought I'd raise it. It seems logical that if AMS is using variables in an external file on the server that only one instance should work. I guess there'd be a work around by creating such files on the local user's pc (if that's doable but I've not tried it)
