Program Version Searches...
Hello Group...
I am very new to all of this and was hoping that someone may be able to help me out with a problem I am encountering.
I am hoping that someone might be able to afford me some; well specific; instructions on how to make AutoPlay Media Studio v4 search for centain installed software on the end users pc and if not found or if old versions found offer to install the new versions at the startup of the CD.
In particular I am trying to figure this out for the following programs...
DivX v4 Codec Files
DivX v5 Codec Files
Xvid Codec Files
I am looking to send some video footage of my wedding to my family and tried compressing them with both types of Codec's.
Also if anyone knows how to look for QuickTime Installation that would also be helpful.
Please, if you can help, I will need somewhat specifics on how to accomplish the version search and install offer at startup of my CD.
