Flash Objects

I have a page with a menu down the left, and when a person selects a menu item, a Flash movie needs to play on the right. What is the best way to accomplish this? I have loaded up a "dummy" flash object into the right side, I figured I could just use this as a place holder to load in new flash movies. What procedure should I be using???
