Corporate slideshow page access slowdown

I have put the basic corporate slideshow on a page in my project. The slideshow page works fine at runtime within the distribution folder. All of the pages including the slideshow pages come up immediately in the runtime. When I burn the CD and play the program, each page comes up at once except for the slideshow page, it takes about 12 seconds for the slideshow page to come up after just starting up Windows. On subsequent clicks it comes up quicker. Has anyone else used the corporate slideshow within a project? Did it work properly or was there a slowdown while AMS4 was trying to access all of the pictures on the CD. I am using Window XP and AMS 4.0.0.4 with burn at 4X maximum write speed. Do I need to make changes in AMS4 or in the burn?

The slowdown will vary from system to system according to CD drive speed. Over here there is no delay.

The CD corporate slideshow has run slow for me on 3 Windows XP computers and 1 Windows ME. Will burning at a 16X maximum write speed make any difference?

Your burn speed has nothing to do with how fast the data can be read from the cd. That all depends on the speed of thre cd-rom drive that is reading the cd.
