I know this is simple but it is driving me insane. I want to be able to copy files into a folder that is created during a program setup. I can do this easy enough using file.copy and selecting the default location that the program installs into. But I know I have changed the default location for installs before. How can I create something that will search for the folder that was created during install? I am not worried about if (they) change the name of the folder to install into just the path. I figure it is their fault for messing with the installation that much. These are high school biology students installing a test taking software program and the tests files into that same folder( hopefully). I Just want to stay one step ahead of them.
Forgive the awkward wording. Maybe this will help understand what I am trying to do.
The order would go something like:
click button to install
launches setup
setup installs program
(wait) files are copied into the folder that was created during setup
No problems doing this with defaults but want to plan for worst case scenario.
