Absolutely! Encore is Windows' answer to low cost professional DVD authoring, much like DVD SP is for Mac OS. It is still version 1.x, and therefore you can expect certain growing pains, but it is definitely a professional DVD authoring product. Highly recommended.

No. DVDs adhere to a strict spec, and are only able to be made by DVD authoring software. For Windows, a good place to start is Adobe's Encore. For Macintosh, definitely Apple's DVD Studio Pro.

Regarding your project update problem, that sounds like you are doing it right - I bet someone at IR proper has some insights for you, however.

I' ve just started using your software as and it looks quite good and easy? to use,
Our partner company has used it for some time there version is AutoPlay Menu Studio Runtime 3.0.0.7?, We have tried to import a project that they have sent us and we get a pop up saying "project conversion failed" method used "Select Import v3.0 Project from the File menu" any idea's what we may be doing wrong

Also can this software be used to make a autostart dvd to play in standalone dvd player, and if it can are they region free?
