• AMP jumps to next page after the Flash has ended

Hi,
I have read you comments on the Forum on how to make AMP jump to page after the Flash movie has finished but it seams that I can not set-it-up. I am using AMP 4.
What I need is rather simple, I have short Flash that I want to use as Intro on the CD that I am doing for my students, and after it is over I would like it to jump to page that I titled "Home".
I have lost tens of hours on this and I would appreciate your help.

Best

Hi, do you have:

a) The original .fla file so you can insert an fscommand on the last frame?

OR

b) Only the final .swf with no way to go back and change it?

Once I know which option we're facing here I can help...

FWIW, I was having trouble getting an FScommand to work properly in one of my SWF files imported to AMS. I had been using the Export command instead of Publish. That was my mistake - make sure you are using publish to make SWFs from your FLAs.

Export works fine Eric, that's what I always use... I never use publish at all unless I'm doing a Projector .exe

That's odd, then. Wonder why it made a difference to me... Oh well. It worked. Why question the mojo when you got it goin' on, eh?

Could be some option you selected or something... Like you say, the best way is the one that works.

Re: AMP jumps to next page after the Flash has ended

1. Open your .fla in Flash. On the last frame of your Flash movie timeline place a keyframe, select that keyframe and then place the following code in the actions window:

fscommand ("done");

Then publish your flash to .swf.

2. Open your AMS project. Put your flash .swf on the first page of the project, and in this flash object's "OnFSCommand" event put a PAGE > JUMP action set to "Home".

It's really simple. You can't miss...

Thanks,

It works,

It could be that fact that I was using export as option in Flash also

But important is that it dose work
