  • wav button issue ?

    A silly one.
Whilst building my current project I've been using scuba.wav from the media library as a button sound. When I select scuba.wav I hear the sound and can also preview it from the object properties box. And during previews everything works as it should. Well at least until about ten minutes ago.
This is probably a system problem not an Autoplay Media Studio problem but perhaps someone knows whats going on. I can no longer hear scuba.wav or any other wav for that matter during selection and preview. And to the best of my knowledge I haven't changed any settings on my computer. Any clues anyone ? :o

That sounds odd. The only thing we can offer, and it's lame, is to:

    1. Confirm your .wav volume is turned up.
    2. Restart your comp.

    If still broken...

    3. Uninstall and re-install AutoPlay Media Studio (although this is a loooooong shot)

Wish I could offer more, sorry...

Did you change the .wav file in any way, i.e. sample rate? That could do it...

Sorry folks, I'm wasting everyones time.
I recently installed Realplayer which unknown to me has taken control of all audio. Also unknown to me, my girlfriend turned the volume down on Realplayer during the ten minutes I was away from the computer.

      Duh

        Hee har.

Yeah it sounded mysterious and frankly I've never encountered anything more profoundly mysterious than girlfriends so it all adds up.
