    SUMMARY

    This article describes how to open a website in the user's default browser.

    DISCUSSION

    AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 contains a built in action which opens a website in the user's default browser. This is useful, for example, if you want a button labeled "Company Website" to open your company's website in the user's default browser.

    To accomplish this use the File.OpenURL action:

    1. Create a button object.

    2. Add the following script to the button object's On Click event:

      File.OpenURL("http://www.yourcompany.com", SW_SHOWNORMAL);
