SUMMARY
This article describes how to create a table of contents in your application.
DISCUSSION
One way of navigating through a multi-page application is by utilizing a Table Of Contents page. In AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 this is accomplished by creating a page at the beginning of your project with one navigational object (e.g. a button object) for each page you want to link to.
As an example, we will create a project with three pages (one page for the Table Of Contents, and two content pages) where Page1 is the Table of Contents, and Page2 and Page3 are the content pages.
- On the first page, create two buttons.
- Add the following action to the On Click event of "Button1" (Button1 will link to the first content page):
Page.Jump("Page2");
- Add the following action to the On Click event of "Button2" (Button2 will link to the second content page):
Page.Jump("Page3");
- You may want to create a back button on each of your content pages to return to the Table Of Contents. This is accomplished by adding the following action to a button object's On Click event:
Page.Jump("Page1");
