I have been busy learning another development plaform, amongst other things. Maybe in the future I can come back to this situation and move it forward.
Perhaps someone reading this and reviewing this thread may come up with an addon/.dll/.exe that will fulfill this community-wise want/need?

Dialog.FileBrowse
Hi guys,
Is there anyway to have this prompt for where you want to save the image (Dialog.FileBrowse) instead of how it is now (Hard Coded)?
Your help on how to do this is greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Octane

09-28-09 - Update:
My new brick and mortar business is picking up steam. This includes 9 to 5 work as well as off-hours programming work. I'm still motivated to get this out the door. It's just a matter of time now. (I have no less than one other plugin I have worked on and some headway in the beta testing phase has revealed one more area I neeed to work on, besides getting each of these addons wrapped into installers with SF 7, including serial numbers for those buying such).
TIA for your patience.

News update:
The for-a-fee (addon) version will have the ability to also utilize the default printer's dialog to make adjustments prior to printing.

Not a problem sside. I believe it's great minds think alike that we just saw happen. (or is that to self-centered on my part
)
Plus, one person may reveal something different in their offering than another person that seems to be doing the same thing. It happens in life all the time (in the realm of inventing).
I actually wondered if you were trying to hint to me to add that in. As this thread is about the Print addon I am looking to release soon.
All's good at the end of the post, thread, and day. Then we crank it up again the next day.

Intrigued,
i assume your last post was directed at me, but even if it was not i will write a few lines and leave again.
I do not come often in this forum anymore, It is once in a while now. I thought i told you "It's a hard knocked life...". Nevertheless when i do come, i come in haste and i leave in haste. I see how are you (ir forum folks) doing and if i can be of help.
So sometime, maybe it cannot be helped to come with a work that has been posted before from any of you as i do not search before i post. Nonetheless better much than nothing.
I do not mean to insult you or anybody with my works, i do not see it as a competition either. The tree is known from the fruit and the man is known from the works. If i have posted a evil work in this forum in my time being here let somebody come forward and show it to me.
If not, some appreciation is in the place as i spend time to write something and to post it here to help you guys.
Ironically, both of us are of the same hour in this forum (check out the join date).
On the other hand with 11,980 members that this forum counts the odds are that you will not miss me or my works at all.
So it's time to move on, again.
It is been a "pleasure" for me to be here.
With Kind Regards
sside
p.s
Not for nothing they say:"Don't throw the gold and silver at the animals.
They will step on it and come back to render you."

Don't forget my other offering here that does such: http://www.indigorose.com/forums/sho...ht=EXE+capture (Further down the page is the .dll version!)
I have thought about adding in the ability to "print to" the printer as well as print to an image.
I have a few other ideas up my sleeve too.

set orientation of pictures
Would like to be able to set the orientation(rotation) of pictures to print.
Maybe you can expand on worms PdfOut.dll since web objects tend to print diffrently, depending on the users browser and system settings settings.
I'd buy that for 12 dollars!!!
or make it a full featured anyting to printer (objects, images, etc) and charge more. Then ams can put it in ver 7 for free
(setmask.dll callback)

This looks like a good addon Intrigued, nicely priced too. I’d be interested in it.:yes

Sounds good. :yes
I think he was just trying to show that you could print a part of a window or an object instead of the whole window.Nice, but isn't there a Web.Print(); action already in APMS?
