    Yeah, i must say i was impressed when i saw how fast the actions were performed, i even throttled my system to simulate a slower machine and it was still pretty fast, what ever way i went about it i could not get the information (wich is exactly what i wanted), im just cleaning up a few bits on my latest project, ill be posting it very soon

    It's a lot of work/code to hide those files. Open closing db's, decrypting-reading files-deleting files.
    AMS handles it well as I haven't seen it slow down, yet.

    I keep a shortcut to the user's temp folder in my taskbar to watch my cypto and zip actions
    lol, i was at it last night trying to "catch the file" but your method works a dream, all i could retrive was a blank txt file, app sucure, job done

    as for more features, just the folder thing, i think you pretty much coverd everything else

    i think Acme-Tek's is going to see some pennys from me next week, as so is dermot, it seems the expance of ams is endless

    I'll look at that. I keep a shortcut to the user's temp folder in my taskbar to watch my cypto and zip actions.
    Anything else? I think it can stand a few more features.
    I have Acme-Tek's System animations and the Windows Construction Kit, too.
    Gotta be prepared

    Here is just ONE page of stuff
    there's 23
    all with four states.
    the buttons are categorized into groups like
    files
    documents
    drives
    optical
    system
    database
    etc.
    Very nice

    Sure, you can link it. Just use my site link (see below), as it's not correct on Softpedia.
    It's no longer freeware. I am going to have Softpedia update that this weekend.
    Glad you like it, I use it a lot, also.
    I am going to add Category support to keep the popup menu sizes down and some other things.
    I'll let you know when I do.
    Another fine product created with AMS 6.0!
    The buttons and stuff were from the REAL nice collection that's in the ToolBars Galore set offered by Acme-Tek.
    You can see it here
    it has hundreds of interactive buttons that look like the old Windows stuff.

    this app is coming along nicely now

    for anyone else thats useing this code:

    in the "PopupMenu()" function

    change this
    nTrayMenu = Application.ShowPopupMenu(X, Y, tblMenu, TPM_RIGHTALIGN, TPM_BOTTOMALIGN, true, false);

    to this
    SMouse = System.GetMousePosition(true);
    nTrayMenu = Application.ShowPopupMenu(SMouse.X, SMouse.Y, tblMenu, TPM_LEFTALIGN, TPM_TOPALIGN, true, true);

    and the menu will appers where the mouse is like a proper right context click menu

    no need for the dll ^^, just 3 lines of code will do it, although worm's dll is very usefull

    edit:, in fact worms dll with the hit test example will work great with this if you are useing input objects because when you right click in the input you get the menu rather than the starndard (cut, copy, paste) menu, use the dll and hit test to disable the right click menu when over a input object

    With the help of worms mouse dll we can right click and the menu will show up next to the mouse.
