  • closing mpeg1 movie in windows media player

hi, i'm trying to get an mpeg1 movie to open full screen in windows media player and to close windows media player when done - presently using argument /fullscreen /play /close %SrcDrv%\moviename.mpg
this works to open the movie, when chosen, but leaves windows movie player just sitting there in black when done, the /close command doesn't seem to do anything, i''m using wmp version 7.01, but i need a command that would work with any version since i want this to work on other computers..thanks

    Hi,

I don't know if the /close command work with Media Player 7.0, I think it might just work with version 6.0. You might try looking on Microsoft's website, or perhaps another user on the forum will know the answer.

    mark.
