  • ** Question for all AutoPlay Menu Studio Users **

Here at Indigo Rose, we receive many requests from users for additional professional background images, templates and sounds. With the pending release of AutoPlay Menu Studio 3.0, we are investigating ways to meet this demand.

    Question:
If Indigo Rose were to offer an extensive (15 CD-ROM) library of top-quality, professionally designed background images, would you be interested in purchasing such a collection?

As many of our users spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars for graphic artist fees, at what price would you consider purchasing such a library? Keep in mind that this is a 15 CD-ROM collection with thousands of exceptional images designed perfectly for AutoPlay menu use.

    Question 2:
If we were to do the same sort of thing, but with royalty-free background music in MP3 format? Pricing per CD-ROM?

Thumbs up or thumbs down? We appreciate any and all feedback! Go ahead and hit that reply button now!

    Ted,

I would be more interested in the royalty free music than graphics. I create of my graphics and there are several sources for that. Music is a different matter.

Also, it is possible to have a kind of "Hall of Fame" where users can submit examples of what they are doing and we can see them. Not to directly copy their ideas but to get different perspectives on how they are using the product.

Q1. I would be interested in purchasing such a volume. However, I have noticed that it is being offered for $500. This is too much for my blood. You should consider a smaller offering at a lower price as well. Perhaps something around $100.

Q2. Royalty free music is available all over the internet for anywhere from free to $150 CD. However, almost all of it sucks pretty bad. If you close your eyes and listen to it, you can almost see Amber Lynn in action. If you can develop some loops that don't sound like they belong in a movie entitled "Nymphos from Mars", you'll have something worth about $50 to $90 per CD (assuming you put a decent amount of music on each disc).

Hope this feedback helps a bit.

        Hello,

        First:
The back ground inages and the music would be great. If you were to sell them, with all due respect, you can keep them. There are way to many resources on the net to pay for music and background images. Also there are way to may graphic programs that can make buttons and so on.... Ulead PhotoImpact 6 comes to mind..among others.

        Second:
If IndigoRose would have some sort of background, music, tones, buttons or just some sample templates that people have made that send to IndigoRose, that would be great. If users could send a XXXXX.am3 file and then download that off the net we would have a lot of choices to choose from and great ideas to branch off from.

        Just a few ideas here....

I think Indigo Rose selling royalty free music and artwork is a great idea. Assuming the quality is good. IF you start selling your own CD's and making a profit from someone elses hardwork you leave yourself open to all kinds of copyright infringement problems. WHen all you can do is edit the backgrounds from Indigo Rose. Much easier in my opinion.

In regards to your second point, I don't think too many poeple will want to give away backgrounds and buttons. My last project had many hours put into the design and layout of backgorunds, sounds and buttons. I personally wouldn't wangt to give them away. But that is just my opinion
