Mix Mode CD on 2.0

I am creating a CD which Id like to have burned as a mix mode CD or an Enhanced CD.....that is, AUTORUN in a computer CD ROM, as well as play in a standard CD player. Near as I can tell, It looks like I will have to put the song on the CD twice, once as a WAV file so the AUTOPLAY MENU can call it up, and once as a CD file which can be played in a regular cd player, then use the Burning software in a mixed mode or Enhanced CD.
Is it possible for autoplay to call up a CD audio tack instead of a wav, if so, what would the call be? %SrcDrv%\Track2.cda?

(as far as I know, Track 1 on a mix mode burn is computer info, so all audio is defaulted to start on track 2...is this true for all Mix Mode /enhanced CDs)?

Confusing, I know...but any answers? Thanks!

I need to know the syntax in the Action window....."Play Multimedia" then %SrcDrv%\Track01.cda ? Or is it all lowercase...is it track01 or track 1? If it is a mixed mode CD, doesnt it default to track 2 for the first audio track? Ive tried every concieveable combination....Track01.cda, track1.cda, track02.cda, track2.cda, track01.wav, etc......any sugestions?

I tried this again, and still I get the aeeror message "the specified file is not found, upon inspecting the CD, I cannot find ANY file named *.cda, so how can I call it? Is it stored elsewhere on the CD? Under a different name? THis is driving me crazy..not to mention eating up a ton of blank CDs!

Hi,
I just tried this using AutoPlay 3.0 and it worked fine. The only thing that I didn't do was burn it to a CD. Basically what I did was put a music CD in the CD-ROM drive, then explored the drive to see what the files were called. Then I created a menu in AutoPlay 3.0 and created a simple TEXT object with a PLAY MULTIMEDIA action, and the target was e:\Track01.cda, and that started my systems default CD MUSIC player on song one. Next I tried it on song 2 and that started song 2. I tried this on WIN 2000, and WIN NT and it seemed to work fine. If you don't have the commercial version of AutoPlay 3.0 try downloading the evaluation version at: http://www.indigorose.com/files.html and test it out.

Hmm...well...I think Ill stick with 2.0 for now, funds are tight.....but I burned the CD and in the action menu, I used %SrcDrv%\Track01.cda...and it says its not found. My guess is that wehn you burn a CD-ZA or a Mix Mode CD, the Audio file is somehow written like another file......in essence, can no longer be seen as a straight CDA file. Strange? Yes. Case in Point: After I burbed a CD-XA, I explored the burned CD and did a search..and I could not find ANY cda files? HUH? Explain that one! Im still lost!
