Does AMS allow animated .GIF files if so how?
If not, wht not?

AMS 3 does not utilize GIF files at the moment. However there are utilities to enable conversion from GIF to AVI which AMS does recognize.

You can try Ulead Gif Animator, open your gif file and export to avi ...It's easy
