Thanks you for confirming what I did. I did it just as you descibed and the result is that I have a good working CD.

    Hi,
The error message that occurs when you build does not matter as long as you burn the files to your CD-ROM properly. Basically the error when you burn says that it can't find your file at the specified location. But if you burn the file to the correct location on your CD-ROM, your AutoPlay menu will be able to find it, therefore no problem.
So to answer your question, yes this is the correct way to do things, but in the same respect any method that results in a functioning CD is a correct method as well.
I believe that the most standard method would be to test your menu using preview function and make sure that it works properly. Once you are satisfied with it’s functionality build your menu to your Virtual CD-ROM folder, and burn the CONTENTS of your Virtual CD-ROM Folder to your CD-ROM.

What I ended up doing is editing the location. ie. I omited the Virtual CD in the location. Then when I went to build I got an error message. I ignored the message and continued on. The CD works great.
    Is this the correct way?

    Hi,
You problem probably relates to the %SrcDrv% variable and the preview function since your menu works fine during preview but not when you build. The conflict can arise because during a preview of your menu %SrcDrv% gets set to your Virtual CD-ROM folder, but once you have built your menu %SrcDrv% gets set correctly: to the "Source Drive", the drive that you menu is running from.
When you get the error message, does the file you are trying to execute exist in the path displayed? (i.e. in the 'Cannot find E:\Wirtual CD\.....).
In reality, if you are using the Virtual CD-ROM Folder properly, you are not doing anything wrong. In order to test a build properly what you should do is build your menu to the location of your Virtual CD-ROM Folder. My guess is that if you build your menu to that location everything should work fine. Now in order to burn your menu, all you would have to do is burn the CONTENTS of your Virtual CD-ROM Folder.

    Newbie here, need help

I am using AutoPlay Menu for the first time. I followed the tutorial and get right up to the part about burning the CD. I burn the Cd and get an error message when I try to run the exe of the program that I put in the cd.
I hope I made the problem clear for someone with more experience than me.
What I am trying to do is put a few apps by the same outfit on one CD. When I do the preview it works fine, it builds good, but I get the error message when I press the install Progam X. 'Can not find E:\Virtual CD\........
    What am I doing wrong?
Working...
